Monken Toyota of Mt. Vernon - 2025 Toyota Tundra
The 2025 Toyota Tundra balances strength with comfort. It's tough enough for the construction site but also suitable for family road trips, something few full-size pickups can manage.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Tundra has five trims — the SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition..
The SR trim has a bold black horizontal bar grille, while the SR5 adds a power tailgate with jam protection. With the Limited trim, you'll find an active aero front splitter that improves aerodynamics at higher speeds. For a more sophisticated look, the Platinum trim features dark chrome-accented mesh grilles and premium LED headlights with sequential turn signals.
In the 1794 Edition, power-extending folding tow mirrors come as standard, along with distinctive chrome accents. Wheel sizes vary from 18 to 22 inches. The Tundra also provides bed length options to suit different needs. Double Cab models have 6.5-foot or 8.1-foot beds, while CrewMax models offer 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot beds.
Engine (Power)
A powerful i-FORCE 3.4-liter Twin-Turbo V-6 engine is available in two output levels. The SR trim delivers 348 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 405 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpm. In the higher trim levels, this increases to 389 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 479 pound-feet of torque at 2,400 rpm.
All Tundra models feature a 10-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission that adapts to your driving conditions. The result is smooth, responsive power that maximizes capability.
Performance
With a frame that's fully boxed and built from high-strength steel, the 2025 Tundra has a maximum payload capacity of 1,940 pounds and can tow up to 12,000 pounds. The top speed is 108 mph, and you can get from 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds, depending on the configuration. Rear-wheel-drive or part-time four-wheel-drive setups are available across all models.
Interior
The Tundra's cabin combines comfort with practical technology. Base models include an eight-inch touchscreen, while the Limited trim and above get a 14-inch multimedia display. The Platinum and 1794 Edition also feature a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The Platinum offers multifunction massaging front seats, while the Limited and higher trims include heated and ventilated seats.
Audio systems range from six speakers to a 12-speaker JBL premium setup, and the center console has smart organization for devices. The Platinum adds semi-aniline leather and American walnut wood-grain trim for a luxury feel.
Safety Features
Each 2025 Tundra includes Toyota's Safety Sense 2.5, which combines forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, lane-departure warnings, and adaptive cruise control. Limited and higher trims add a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert as standard. The 360-degree panoramic view monitor is optional on the Limited trim and standard on the Platinum and above.
If you're towing, you'll appreciate the Trailer Backup Guide with Straight Path Assist on all models. The available blind-spot monitor with trailer coverage makes it simpler to park or change lanes when towing.
